Thank you so much for this video, my climate slide was kinked so bad, couldn’t figure out why it would never get cold. Went under dash by glove box and manually moved it and instant a/c!

You answered a question for me. On my 98 the hot/cold cable isn't hooked up to the blend door lever. What's goofy is my lock washer was up high on the tab and the cable was unhooked when I got it. I bet it's been that way for years because the previous owners never bothered to look into it. Someone may have serviced the jeep and unhooked it, or they put the washer on first and it got stuck on them... Either way, you showed me that my blend door lever is actually all there and I can work with it. Thanks!

Since the problem was corrected in '99, when you purchase the new cable does it address the 1997 issue? Thank you.

It did on mine but now you can’t find the cables anywhere!
