Changing the fuel filter on my Mercedes C230

Changing of a fuel filter for a 1999 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor. Use 10mm for the dirt shield removal .

Looks like a bitch of a job! I have to do mine (1999 CLK 230 Komp) I reckon I might warm up those hoses with a heat gun first and get some new jubilee clips before I start. Thanks for the demo; much appreciated.

How are the Plastic Nuts removed? Do you need a special tool? Don't forget to Tell Us Everything.

On my r170 (2001) I have changed my fuel pump and fuel filter but there is a continuous noise (never had it before) when I turn the key. I tried another one but the noise is still here. Pressures tested and anything else is ok.

You should have disconnected the fuel pump relay then run the car until the fuel runs off to take the pressure out from the fuel filter!!
