Love your video, I was just wondering if you have any tips on power cable replacement? I can't get to the wiring at the back to connect the new power cable. And there is not any videos on this topic. Help Ranger God!!

I have some thoughts on your video as there are some errors in your process. Firstly you do not need to unscrew the RTD temp probe, this step is not required if you are cutting all the ties in the controller, there is actually a fuse on these and it is located on the back of the control board (should be a spare on tied to the board as well). You should NEVER handle the control board while plugged in and powered on!!!! If you confirm the heat rod has failed just cut the wires and pull both ends in their respective directions to get it out, pry the heat guard up a small amount and push the new rod through. Reattach the rod and re zip tie the wires then put the controller back on. The whole job should be less than 5 to 10 minutes. You should not heat the probe with more than about 4 to 5mm showing or you will get an overheat which is what you saw in your video. Testing at a temp above smoke setting (165F) is not needed you don't need to go full noise to see if it is working. Lastly either your fan is faulty or the controller is faulty as your unit is way to loud and the fan is running way to hard.

Hello, i purchased a traeger ranger 110 v and conected to 220..on my country.. smoke and shut off .... then i think sonething was blown. Can you help me how to disarm the traeger ranger an see what part to replace?...

As long as its not plugged in you can safely take it apart.
