Hab mein bdf442 schon vor Jahren auf 18V umgebaut und mit deiner Hilfe nun mehrmals von innen gereinigt und Kohlen getauscht. Vielen Dank Makita seit 15 Jahren im Einsatz und ich bereue nichts❤❤

Thanks for the video. My exact same model gave up, overheated and died. Now at least I have a chance to repair it myself. It´s suppose to have a workload-protection but I guess that didn´t help LOL

it attaches to a copper coil spring that simply pushes against the stator. Its is a static discharge lead,

These models are really bad. In general I am not very happy with Makita drills except for the battery operated SDS. I literally have a room filled with makita power tools so I will stay with my brand.
