Changing The Stereo On My Seat Leon Cupra

Hi all, ive finally changed my rubbish standard car stereo that was in my 2004 Seat Leon Cupra.
The video is just a quick one to show how you do it, think it will be same on a mk 4 golf also.

Pointless changing it for a crap Pioneer stereo when the radio doesn't work. I would have kept the original headunit in, for authenticity. My mk1 Leon Cupra still has the original stereo 6 CD autochanger, and it sounds great.

So i got the same stereo, I took out the stock aura one which was working, plugged the brown & black plugs into my pioneer and nothing is happening, no lights on stereo nothing. I cannot for the life of me figure out why it won't come on

I know im late but im responding in case someone else has the same issue. Youre not supposed to plug the black and brown connector directly in your radio. You need a wiring harness like shown in the video.
