We have said more times than I can even remember in the past that a strong and resilient family equals a strong and resilient military force! Knowing your surroundings and what risks you may encounter by the region you live in, whether that is hurricanes, blizzards, earthquakes or tornados, you can prepare best and know that you are going to feel secure and safe. We all move and change locations quite often so remembering to research your new location, talk about emergency plans, and how to be more self reliant is always a great idea
