Channel 10 has decided it will 'solve racism' by changing names on a weather map

Sky News host Paul Murray says at Channel 10 they've decided that the way they will "solve racism" is by changing the place names on a weather map.
It comes after a recent Channel 10 weather report had used the Indigenous names for locations around the country.
"All that matters is that Twitter loved it," Mr Murray said.
"And Twitter did love it".
"So, ladies and gentleman I'm pleased to say, July 2021 - racism solved by Channel 10".

For a TV Channel thats struggled from day 1, they really do come up the most stupid ideas and then put them into action , with disastrous consequences. I,ve often wondered how they keep going because no one watches 10, except to see how bad it is for themselves. Its obviously a huge tax dodge for a stupidly rich person for awhile until the taxation dept decides to move on , then its sold to another super rich person for the same reason. This should really lose a bundle , quickly, easing the stress for some multi millionaire, imagine the relief.? Imagine watching 10?? ...nope.!

There's so many issues with the absurd far left these days and I love it when Sky news does a good job of covering those issues. Unfortunately this is not one of those times in my opinion. I can't see how trying to appreciate first nations ppl by celebrating NAIDOC week by representing traditional custodial language of place names is an issue. I seriously doubt it's going to have any effect on racism in Australia but I don't think anyone is claiming it will. Seems like a straw argument to say the channel ten expects this is going to solve racism, pointing out that's ridiculous isn't impressive.
