Australia’s emissions equate to 1.5% of global emissions where as India & China’s emissions is approx 60-65% of the problem. He mentioned lots of contradictory goals in his first waffling on. For example tree clearing isn't normally something that is reduced with reduction in fossil fuel use. For one wind and solar take up large areas of cleared land, these same items also require extensive mining to gather the materials to build so somewhat counter the argument of mining for fossil fuels and the other point is countries that are not advanced or stable enough to have a stable fossil fuel grid basically strip the environment of materials to burn....
