It was announced today that The Simpsons will be moving to E4, from 6 January with the Channel 4 episodes remaining on weekends.

Yeah i heard earlier. Going to be strange not seeing it in the 6pm hour anymore on terrestrial tv.

@@HalfbrickVHS they’ve had the same slot since they moved from BBC Two 20 years ago, I remember the move from BBC to ch4 all too well

It did move to 6:30 when Hollyoaks was taken off the main channel But yeah 6pm is like the iconic Simpsons time, it's even when Sky One used to show a new episode on Sundays.

My goodness, this was recorded on my 2nd birthday. I had a STV recording the next night during 'Rod Stewart: One Night Only' on a Sky+ box that i no longer have. Can't believe it was so long ago.
