people are saying there’s potential in these idents, but right now, as we speak, i do not see potential now if you were to ask me about it’s presentation, i would agree this new ident is nice and soothing, but comparing it to the illusion era (my fan name for the era where the 4 forms under optical illusion) and the disconnect era (my fan name for the era of idents we’re in… until spring of 2023)… this falls flat i get that channel 4 is trying to be more simple and to the point, especially since their- nay, OUR current era of design is all over the place, but there’s something charming about how the little pieces of channel 4 are tossed all over the place, and the optical illusion is self-explanatory but when the hell is my opinion gonna matter; i’m an american who only knows 4 via their idents and gbbo
