Hello good sir. I have also wanted to get involved in making music for video game. Been a musician for many years since i was a child and I have a strong knowledge of theory. Anyways I really enjoy your work, and I was wondering if you had any advice for someone trying to get into this field. Cheers!

Be real with yourself and your content. Compare yourself to others who are successful. What are they doing with their songs (mix/arrangement) that you aren't? Identify your strengths and weakness and play to them. Sacrifice is a big one. You're going to essentially be working for free for a bit to get your name out there. Find KZbin channels, twitch streamers, indie mods, whatever, and offer to contribute music for free. It's ideal if you're passionate about the subject as well, you can give back to the community this way. That last one is the most important. The number one factor is that you have to realize that you won't get anywhere by yourself. Like in all walks of life and business, you'll have the highest chance of success the more people that have your back. Be friendly, courteous, and generous. This is the best advice I can give.
