I feel like you're not fully grasping the point of platforms like Patreon. Your supporters are donors, not customers. Most people don't donate for perks. That's a nice extra, sure, but it's very rarely the main reason, and if that's the main reason, they'll usually just "support" you one month every once in awhile to see the content that's restricted to those who support you. The POINT is to support a creator financially so that they can make more of that type of content because they're invested in your channel and want to see you succeed. I know many creators both much larger than you and smaller that just provide a Discord (or even just a section in a Discord) for supporters, put the name at the end of the video on a card, and perhaps occasionally have them vote on future content direction every once in awhile along with a behind the scenes view, and sometimes early access to videos. (I've seen anywhere from 6-12 months for Sub Brief to a day to a week with others.) *Closing* your Patreon and "switching" to YT Members is... Well, it's dumb, and it misses the entire point. Many people don't, and won't support any creator through KZbin Members, just as many people won't support anyone through Patreon, for various reasons. I genuinely see no reason why you'd need to close down one to open another avenue? Just do both. The administrative overhead isn't that much. And consider adding an option like a PayPal link to give you a one time donation. I know this may seem insane to you, but people who are willing to support you financially are not generally doing it for the perks you offer. It's because they believe in you and want to help *you* succeed and grow. It's not transactional, it's a donation. I'm sad to see that you don't understand that you're worthy of people's support and don't have to "return the favor" with perks to "justify" the donation. I'm not saying don't add perks, but I'm just saying that a) the majority of people will support you because they want to support you, not for perks, and b) locking channel staple content behind a paywall is a way to harm channel growth (a core content video could introduce many new people to your channel) and make people _not_ want to support you but rather be a customer. The two are not the same. I wish you the best.

There's a damn good reason over 9000 (lol) people have still supported Lindsay Ellis on Patreon for a *long* time, over a year, without her publishing a single video on KZbin, and only ONE on Nebula after she went through some horrific harassment at the hands of some dipshits on the internet. Do you want to strive for *that* kind of support, or do you want people who would leave the moment you stopped publishing videos on time and providing perks?
