Tony you are a nice guy and this shines through without truly knowing you. I think what you will find is trying to make any real money on KZbin or any social platform focused on large format photography is a very long shot, and at best, it will take a long time, and the ROI is ridiculously low. You will be working for pennies based on the amount of time and effort you put in. My old guy's sage advice is to find other ways to make money to take care of your financial needs, and continue to enjoy your photography and share with us on KZbin as you have free time because you enjoy it. Trying to monetize it and make real money is something that I believe you will realize was not a good use of your time. Your photography should be about you and your goals, and your enjoyment, not what other people want to see from you. I wish you the best and do whatever you think is best for you.

This is very sage advice! Over the years, I have been reminded several times that its important to do YT because I enjoy it and not try to make a career from it. Thank you for your support! I appreciate you helping me keep "focused". 😃

Firstly, enjoy the roadtrip! As for homework, in terms of idea for large format, I'd be super curious to see what sort of final images would look like if one were to do something that people do now to get a larger format look. It's called the Brenizer technique/method (multi-row panorama). The only barrier to this seems to ridiculous cost of film for a single final composited frame, and obviously, any small errors would completely make the rest of the images pointless. Likewise the need for possibly the longest telephoto's would be a massive problem. I don't think it's anything I've ever seen before from anyone. So in terms of curiosity - yeah, what does larger than large format even look like (I guess extra-large format)

we love your content, sorry to hear about the job thing, but so glad the channel 'kept your sanity', one suggestion, you have three in-depth videos on your lf lenses (300/150); would be a good topic to show some macro work with them, you have shown them to us, now how do we use them; subject distance, aperture limitations, what about using some of the concepts you showed (bellows factor, exposure compensating), in a practical example together, like a landscape or portrait shoot.

Hi Tony. I like the content about large format photography. My journey only started last year. I would like to know your thoughts about black and white or colour. Colour is expensive and somewhat challenging to develop at home. Looking forward to more content. Have a nice trip.

No embarrassment on being open about your work life... Thinking on income through KZbin, I follow Nick Carver and he has a very interesting way of using it as a platform. You have videos with very thorough information made available for everybody. A ridiculous big contribution to the photography community! ;-) Maybe some research and videos on how can LF become a business opportunity or exploring the different professional uses of LF or film in general would be great. How about your story on how photography has impacted on your life? some ideas you may take for consideration... more than ever, thank you so much for your videos and dedication!!!
