It’s gotta be at least extremely rare. And one should try to do it so no one else will see. I know that sounds juvenile and maybe it is. But as a male u r not supposed to cry. It’s unseemly. The circumstances have to be extreme. I don’t quite know how I feel about that but I do feel like those r the rules. Oh for the record, I didn’t think one ounce less of Milo for crying here. U can tell it’s genuine, torn from his soul and it is justified given. The interaction between Milo and the instructor is the very definition of manly. Very human. Well the best of human at any rate. Very beautiful. Well done. Respect.
@nobody46035 жыл бұрын
It ain’t that simple mate. Some people (especially men) don’t like to show their emotions. It’s the way we are raised. And when we do, it makes us feel weak. You might not agree, you might say that we’re all human beings which is true, but let me tell you, when you break in front of people, 99% of the time, comfort is not what you are going to get.

I wouldn't say women have significant skills that men don't have, however women do have an advantage in terms of gaining trust of civilians/local people as they seem less threatening. Also, if they're on a secret op or something, they're a lot less likely to be suspected of anything compared to a man. Remember guys, men and women are different in many ways, these differences should be celebrated but their value is the same! As long as a woman can pass under the same standards a man has to, she has just as much of a right to join the various military branches as the man. Well done to these 3 who passed!
@GodGotHigh5 жыл бұрын

Respect to the lady who does that for a job that delivers bad news to anyone and everyone! I couldn’t do it! And the first lad at the end…. That’s proper raw emotion that just can’t be contained! “The emotional state is when we’re at our truest form” When someone absolutely breaks down in front of another human being like that, it’s scary! For a moment they lose their identity and are essentially capable of anything! They may look weak in form but emotionally unstable! They’re in fact at their strongest when appearing at their weakest… They cannot process their emotions in that instance cause they’re overwhelmed… Be very cautious when people are in this state of mind..
@shaunagall24926 жыл бұрын
Can’t help but laugh at all the boys in the comments genuinely emasculated at the fact that a woman passed this course. I agree that generally men are physically fitter than women in terms of strength especially (that’s just biology) but that doesn’t mean all men are. Not to mention that physical strength only makes up a fraction of what it takes to be a good soldier. And if your argument is that women are “too emotional” I’ll point out that the two men cried and the woman did not (not that it even matters). EDIT: to the people saying they saw no comments like that, why would I comment about something that didn’t exist? Delve deeper and you will see them. To other people pointing out that they don’t care about a woman passing the course, that’s great. But I wasn’t referring to you men that don’t care, I was referring to the boys that do care and felt the need to put her down. At the end of the day, those types of demoralising comments, directed to either men or women, are needless and I’m here to point that out.
@higgsey89365 жыл бұрын
I haven't seen a single comment like that. I don't think a boy will feel emasculated because a woman passed, because all commenters also can't pass. Men don't have a group identity of 'men' in fact we compete with them so we should feel emasculated at the other men who have proven to be fitter and stronger than the rest.

There are so many broken people in the world. People with terrible things in their lives that they struggle daily with. And yet they must put the mask on every day to get through life and carry one. One thing I like about this show is that it allows for that human aspect, but doesn't make an excuse of it. Ant's humanity comes through at the end. He's a decent guy. Here you see how much will power this woman has! Both man started crying when they found out they passed, she was just like, finally mate, thanks for everything! :D And no to be misunderstood, I know crying is not a showing of weakness it's just that not crying in a situation like this shows so much will power it's amazing. Both men doubted themselves that's probably why they cried when they achieved that huge goal. She just went cheers mate, thanks. Amazing! She probably cracked right after but damn! Still impressed. That's what trying not to cry in front of patients does to you. I mean imagine ... A doctor tells you you have cancer and you have to be strong and bursts into tears in front of you. Saying that men shouldn't cry is as absurd as to say the men shouldn't sneeze. I watched my mum die of cancer. I sat listening to a Bomber Command vet talk about his nightmares through his tear soaked sobs. Watched my daughter over come her stutter whilst reading her part in a play and the support she got from her cast and other members of the audience. I cried. And I don't care a toss on whether someone has an opinion on this fact or not. To quote Douglas Bader to the Stallag Luft Commandant...
