"If you work with an AWARD-WINNING architect, then you are in another realm." - yeah, it's called having crap tons of money. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they earned it. And have put it to a spectacular end. The result it just breathtaking and the art collection deserves a video of its own. I just sat watching, stunned, and shaking my head. I agree and I don’t. The old form couldn’t deliver what the owners sought. Surprisingly, the house delivers on its interior flow. It is like 2 different era homes adjoined, however. Somehow it works. I love the dry stone wall. Probably cost as much as the house.

@@anamaria2053 Hey Ana! I like what you say "I agree and I don´t" hahaha. Still, I feel like those two adjoined era houses don´t communicate with each other. They are just sitting together. The interior is stunning and they have VERY good taste in Art. I absolutely love all the off angles, brilliant! Still, the idea of just two people building a home with this amount of space is kind of staggering. The exterior of the old and the new structures share no common visual vocabulary; so I can’t help but view them as entirely separate structures and not as an integrated whole home.
