SAKA at left back for England? He has played there for Arsenal and in the absence of a true left-footer for left back it might be a worthwhile consideration ... If it was felt that he might offer the necessary cover, it would give us his attacking prowess and enable Cole Palmer - with his talent - a place on the right. I'd be thinking about it. Jim.

North East has produced Bobby & Jackie Charlton, Bob Paisley, Gazza, Shearer, Bryan Robson, Bobby Robson, Milburn, Beardsley, Clough, Waddle… I can go on, legend after legend. There is nowhere else in England that has produced so much talent and exported it around the country… criminal really that even legends like Shearer and Robson left before being brought back. Hopefully those days are over.

As an Evertonian, Gordon had to leave us; our entire club is more toxic than Chornobyl. The kid is set for special things, and just like Rooney and Branthwaite, he won't achieve them at a club with a losers mentality. Can see him going beyond Newcastle as well, kid has immense talent.
@ianphillips94555 ай бұрын
He had to leave because he refused to train till he got his way, will he do the same at Newcastle time will tell.
@adamc54775 ай бұрын
@ianphillips9455 no of course he won't 😂, he did that because Everton was a toxic place to play. The poor bloke was desperate to get away

@@ianphillips9455 yeah probably will throw his toys out the pram at Newcastle at some point to force a move to a top 4 club. Still a great player though.
@ianphillips94555 ай бұрын
@@adamc5477 How was it toxic or are you judging clubs by what happened under Ashley? Strange how he was full of praise at EFC and then an offer came in and hey presto he refused to train, while other players resigned (Braithwaite, Dacoure Pickford. etc etc) He was saved by EFC after being dumped by LFC and then he did the dirty on them which he will more than likely do if LFC come calling, don't fall for his drivel he used to come out with all that stuff at EFC Don't forget he signed a new 5 year deal at EFC not that long before he went absent from training. Maybe you should check out some of his quotes when he signed usual drivel.

@ianphillips9455 Scum bag fans putting up road blocks and threatening him in the road, stopping him from driving away. Most Everton fans being negative towards him in general sounds pretty toxic to me.

The city of Newcastle is full of Newcastle United supporters walking the streets. Please clarify. Is there another club in the city that can compete? FFS, LOL! Right, there is the paradox of Gordon and working-class values! He has no idea! Fair doos to Gordan, the interviewer, paltering; Gordan spoke the truth, and I have massive respect for his words and actions! I turned off halfway through the interview; it had nothing to do with Gordan, as an Evertonian, I thought I would, but he was good. The interviewer was sh*!e!

1:23 because they’re a one club city. That’s why they’re passionate about Newcastle. Most cities have two clubs. Newcastle aren’t as passionate as fans in Liverpool though.

Liverpool fans would all support Everton if they hadn’t won anything in 70 years. NUFC had 50k in the championship, it’s not even close. Generations mad about the club with no reason to be… passion in the club & city. Liverpool is a club, it doesn’t represent the city - just half of it.

As a Sunderland fan I've got to disagree mate. Newcastle & Sunderland despite being 2 seperate cities are basically the same place. As there isn't any seperation in the area. Gateshead borders both places, there's South Tyneside & North Tyneside also. Tyne & Wear area is classed as 1 Metropolitan area. Your either a barcode or a Sunderland fan. Both get decent crowds. Both are passionate & loyal. Newcastle are the Northern area Sunderland is the Eastern area on the coast of the Tyne & Wear area. Don't get me wrong if you're from either city. You don't support the other but the areas in between are mixed.
