I think the reason why putting Excalibur back on the stone didn't magically heal Garrett's eyes was because it was caused by a fire accident, whereas the rest were caused by magic(don't know if the same applies to Arthur's injured arm)

@@hoobadooba2000 for them, I think it was their strong desire to be separated, bit then of course they decided to stay together since they had learned to work as a team. I personally think Bladebeak had a reason to turned good in the climax, because he was Kayley's pet chicken on the farm, He was not evil or a jerk and I don't think he was helping Ruber at all, he was just there to tell him that Kayley, Garrett and Ayden are going after Excalibur and he serves him his lunch, he was useless for Ruber's plans, so he sends him back to the wagons with Juliana and his wife, which is another reason why he turned good, so he can see his wife again.

Also, throughout his scenes you could see a hen that I assumed was either his mother or his girlfriend, and they looked at each other with a twinge of sadness constantly up until he turned on Ruber, where they were seemingly chatting. Over the course of the movie, the dragons learned the lesson that being together has its advantages over being on their own (what they're hoping for in the beginning). When Excalibur works it's magic, it lasts long enough to grant them their initial wish but then also to change their minds and put themselves together again.

I really liked this movie when I was small because the main character was pretty, her love interest was cool -- I thought he was a unique character & he's really *the only* interesting thing in this movie, and I liked one song -- just one single song. *Everything else in this movie sucked* which kept me from loving it. *The blind guy should've been the main character.* The movie would be far more interesting that way. Seeing how he copes with life and triumphs over battles and challenges using his wits. To me, the few scenes where he fought and traversed while blind is what made the movie memorable.

I gotta say I always loved that Kaylie (no idea how to write that name) talked about becoming a Knight for so long but having had to grow up without her father teaching her anything means she can't actually back that talk up with anything but stubbornness for now, to the point a blind man who's had time to adjust and get used to the way the forest works can outmatch her. Then he's moved out of his comfort zone with their travelling, and he, the dragons and Kaylie all kind of have to adapt to this situation at the same rate, if that makes sense?

King Arthur stuff kind of falls into the historical fiction category where if you differ from the already established mythos you have to acknowledge it. The same goes for stories based off of mythologies and ancient pantheons, you can still include, for example, a giant forest of living thorn creatures, but you have to acknowledge that, yes, they are giant thorn creatures. On the other hand, you can just say "Excalibur is magic!!" and everyone will know what you mean.

It's established this is a magic Forest full of magic plants, why is that not enough? Here’s a little idea for what would make “The Prayer” scene more memorable: Little chase at first (with some more intense music) just until Kayley gets out of sight. Then, her mother sings the song as we get a montage of Kayley riding away (maybe some day-to-night shots), maybe even until she collapses from exhaustion. And a cherry on top to add a final touch to this scene…we never see the mother again (could be dead, but leave it ambiguous if wanted). The last time we see her on screen is her wishing for her daughter’s safety…

The funny thing is it's not even THAT BAD. The problem is more the delivery. It would be a typical kids movie line if a comic relief character said it. One that had been firing off one liners all movie. But this one basically just kinda turns good at the end and changes characer. It feels so off for so many reasons. Sure it's not in any way a good line but it's just a normal lame pun that was given some of the worst delivery I've ever seen.

well, when it comes to the girl wanting to be a knight... while that is just straight up impossible, as it is the title of a male lesser noble and a military rank, she can be granted the alternative title of a Dame instead. Dames are the female equivalent to the more well known Knight and were usually the wives of knights. They also had military duties, so when their husbands were away for whatever reason, it would be up to the Dame to take command of her household soldiers and defend her home from outside attacks. They were pretty cool. So while the girl in this film would never be given the title of knight, she could be granted the feminine equivalent instead... just thought I'd share that.

Recording from 'Quest for Camelot' - "Gentlemen, I wanted to talk to you about this line" - "Which is that?" - ""The ogre's butt."" - "What about it?" - "Is... Is that it? Simply "the ogre's butt"?" - "Yeah, it's an ogre's butt. What's wrong with an ogre's butt?" - "Oh, nothing, I have nothing against the ogre's butt, I'm sure the ogre's butt is lovely. However, there doesn't seem to be any reason for the ogre's butt. How about perhaps a, uh, verb, or predicate clause? Like, "Look out for the ogre's butt." Or, "Oh no, we are under the ogre's butt." Or, if you'll permit me, "Woe is me and all others who are trapped under ogre's butt... eseses."" - "Yeah, ogre's butt isn't plural" - "Duly noted, but at least that one came with a conjunction. Grammatically speaking, I think that makes the ogre's butt much more palatable" - "Look, just stick to the script" - "But I ask you, how does it make any sense? I'm a Shakespearean trained actor" - "Hey, weren't you that spider in Lost in Space?" - "...Ogre's butt it is" - "Get to work, puppet" - " _[sigh]_ "
