My little girl has been grabbing my face since 4 weeks! And smiling ❤❤❤❤proper smiles! When I tickle her, talk to her, big gummy smiles haha. She's been able to hold her head for 30 seconds or longer since birth..the moment t the doctor put her on my chest, she held her head up and looked around!!! She was on her elbows and looked me in the face 😂😂

My little one too. He'll be 8 months on the 28th and since day one he's been holding his head up. Smiling, laughing, cooing back as if trying to holding a conversation. He amazes everyone who comes into contact with him and a lot of women throw that old wives tale at me that if baby is moving fast, it means I'll be pregnant again shortly. But I know that isn't the case at all lol. He's just a very, healthy, happy, blessed, intelligent baby. And I wouldn't trade him for the World.

Our son is 6 weeks 5 days. He holds up his head a lot but it’s not stable. He flings it around because his neck is tired. He smiles a bunch but sometimes at nothing and we are wondering what he is looking at. Yesterday he started grabbing my hair. I thought it was a fluke but after watching this I guess he’s doing it on purpose. At church today my husband thought our son was trying to reach for me!!!

I wish I could nap when she naps... I try respecting a routine, doing playtime after her feedings, being very reactive to her sleeping cues. I'll put her down for a nap, swaddled, fast asleep, sound machine on, bedding slightly warmed from an heating pad (taken out when I put her down) but she wakes up 30 mins later like clockwork. I am scared of prolonging her wake window and dealing with an overtired baby afterwards. Her current wake window seems to be around 75-90 minutes Not quite sure if there is something more to do or if she is just in a period where she needs less sleep. She can sleep on us for a good 2 hours though 😅
