Love it! HDB flats are pretty much blank canvas. You fill it up with characters. This is definitely a home.

Great to see a home with such unique and personal designs when most designs these days are just the run of mill trends that are all over the place.

The mini library is amazing. It’s a pity they didn’t do all the way to the ceiling. It would look like the library in Seoul Coex Mall.

Books are great to have but bear in mind, it attract worms. U have to ensure u clean the books if u want to have them.

Great layout and design... maybe i missed it, but where's the laundry? Would have been great to see all the "unglamorous" parts too like the laundry (i'm assuming adjoined to the kitchen) and the home entryway. It seems like thought was put into segregating those parts and it's a shame not to showcase it.

Spotted a service yard at 1:49 And from my knowledge of a maisonette layout, on the right of that frame is the kitchen toilet where they usually place washing machine nearby (or some residents would put washing machine inside) If really the service yard is the laundry area, then I think the ID is very clever to separate as such Cz maisonette layout esp in Hougang/Serangoon do not have service yard.

Just go to the library. One day you will be throwing the books on the void deck tables.

Awesome! On a side note, you would think with all those books they would be sophisticated and have learned that religion is non-essential once we know enough about it, yet I see she is wearing a hijab.

Awesome! On a side note, you would think that someone who talks about sophistication might have some common decency, yet I see he is still wearing his bigotry.

A HDB is worthless after 99 years. Literally zero. 100% depreciation.
@NurzatimanAstha3 жыл бұрын
Then in the 99 years that they stay there, do you recommend they sit on mats, eat off paper plates, sleep on bare floors? Sit down James Lim and let ppl have nice things.
@muhammadfairuzsamsi72093 жыл бұрын
ok, and your point being? so what if its worthless, you buy hdb to live or to invest/sell? if its for investment, the most stupidest thing a person can do is treat a house you live in, especially HDB, as an asset. you want an appreciating asset, don't live in one, you buy one and do anything with it except live in it.
