Top advice. Batching is something I am trying to focus on and I think combining this with planning my week with prep/film/edit time will help.
@SuperEnthused5 жыл бұрын
I've always been committed to making quality content that both entertains & informs, but also committing to a weekly schedule has made a huge difference! I can't really batch create in my field, so being consistent and having a clearly planned out week - weeks in advance, in fact, makes all the difference!

I struggle most with editing. I have a simple program on Windows but it is limiting what I want to do and I am already tired of it after six months. The problem is I am not finding any reasonably prized editing software and with only 100+ subscribers I am battling wheter I should go for it or not. I am spending everyday improving things for my channel, learning more, etc. But 6 months have passed with at least one video each week and I am still not getting anywhere. Very discouraging to say the least.. But your video is, as always, perfectly on point! Thank you for all your awesome advice.

Hi girl! You can definitely uplevel your editing with any software. If you want free software, you can try Davinci Resolve. However, if you're willing to invest money, I recommend Sony Vegas Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro for Windows. They're a pretty penny but will help you with the confidence to take your editing to the next level. Windows is quite limiting, more so now than before, so it's up to you. Davinci Resolve is free and offers a lot despite the learning curve.

I always keep a notebook with me and write down ideas from viewer's comments or ideas throughout the day. It is super helpful! Then when it is time to record I can knock out 4-5 videos all at once. I should go back over videos that are not performing well. Who is only uploading once every week or every other week and trying to grow???

Great advice. I really need to get started with batch creating. I rarely have days where I have enough energy to film, but editing is easier so I can do that here and there. I just need to get that plan ready so I can film two or three videos in a row when I have the opportunity!

Great video, I always love your hands-on, well-structured advice! I’ve got a question on this one: What would you say is the best way to notice what is trending in your niche? Do you just notice from other people’s videos, or do you use the search tool somehow? What people are filming and what viewers want to see is not necessarily the same thing, when is it? 🤔 I have no idea what the best approach here would be and I’m curious about your opinion! 🙂 Keep going, I love your videos!

LOW PASS FILTER! You've got some crazy hisses from your Ss. Try out a low pass filter on your recorder or in post to remove them. Content is great. You're absolutely gorgeous, but those hisses are not! I'm listening on studio monitors and I noticed no one else is mentioning it so you may not even be hearing it either. But on quality speakers the hisses are piercing and distracting
