Ruqayya Mansur -The Nigerian Polyglot

You can learn anything by just tapping a button on your smartphone. This is the story of Ruqayya Mansur, a young Nigerian polyglot who speaks six different languages fluently. She learnt English and Turkish formally and Hausa from her immediate environment. Three other foreign languages South Korean, Russian and Hindi were picked up from watching movies.
Rugayya runs a KZbin Channel where she talks about her amazing language learning skills and encourages her viewers online or offline to speak indigenous and international languages.
Gist Nigeria is a 30-minute current affairs programme, co-produced by Channels Television and the BBC. The program offers in-depth reporting, focusing on stories behind the news and their impact on its audience.
Gist Nigeria airs at 9pm on Wednesdays on
