Low income earners and small firms won't pay tax, but you are taxing the bigger firms and people more. What stops the big firms from transferring the tax to them through sales😂
@oluwaseyipeter4911Күн бұрын
That's how is being done in developed countries, you tax the rich more, you have forgotten that most of the items the poor or average people buy are exempted. If you want to buy cement and build house, you are no more a poor person.
@analog4254Күн бұрын
@oluwaseyipeter4911 Seyi it is a catch-22 situation, developed countries have the economy to sustain those tax reform, you have fuel and energy situation on the poor, inflation is at 34% and you are taxing the big firms who will transfer it down. You need to do the simpler things first, cut the cost of governance by half, go for projects like Agriculture that will produce more jobs and not those social nonsense. When you have those things in place. Then look towards taxing people because they will be willing to give back to their country.
@analog4254Күн бұрын
@oluwaseyipeter4911 secondly you can't claim all the goods of the poor are exempted, the society is still linked one way or another.
