It appears Nigerians donot understand the problem of the north.The fulanis are the ruling tribe of the north and occupy most government employment whereas the indigenous tribes are the ones bearing the brunt of taxation.Accepting this tax reform will be tantamount to freeing the indigenous people from their bondage or shakles of slavery.That's why their governors, traditional rulers, religious leaders as well as social media communicators and politicians are against the bill in its totality under the pretext of save guaring arewa interest as if arewa is a homogeneous entity without specificity.

The major of blow of the bill is that no stealing via govt agencies I e. like NIMASA, Customs again which affect a block more now and in the future. The underside is VAT Rate increase which can extended before increment.
