State governor is not in charge. It is federal that is in charge( strong centre- hold and control vital sector and resource of the country). The state governor can not run a country- state governor only manage state. The federal is in charge and have the capacity to run a country. So they are in charge if they are the one that give the state governor money. They( federal) should be held responsible for how the state governor manage the public fund. The state and federal are Nigeria govt. So don't fail for the trap of blame game tactics. They tell you to hold and blame state govt in order for you to be blind as to the role federal play in a nation building- federal failure can not be covered up by blaming state governor. You’re right, I’m full supporter of the President’s long-term policies policy. But, I think he didn’t do well in managing the welfarist aspect of his ministry. But in reality, the governors were the real culprit on the welfare of their states. Even if they needed more fund, they ought to by now have a clear path to their people’s welfare while the Long term policies are are ongoing. I think food needs to be subsidized for the next 1 year, PHCN should be subsidized for the next 6 months, and the health service be completely subsidized. The policies are very good but the path to it is extremely hard. I won’t like him to stop those policies but, welfare packages should be stepped up.
