When Chant Claire came together for our first rehearsal on Tuesday, September 17th, 2013, the thirty singers gathered had no idea how the next ten years would unfold. What we knew in that moment was we loved singing great music and doing that with wonderful people who were already, or would grow to be, dear friends. Since then, around two hundred wonderful singers have shaped the experience of Chant Claire both musically and organizationally.
Likewise, our loving and beloved audience members have continually shared in our joy and the beauty we work to cultivate. You have generously supported us in so many ways. To celebrate the past ten years, we’ve selected a favorite piece from each of our previous concerts to revisit; this process has been like getting back together with old friends. Thank you for joining us and celebrating together our core mission of “authentic music in an authentic community.”
