It is so good to see the Instacart dynamic from your point of view. Sad that people decrease your tip if an item is unavailable as though it's your fault. I love your Instacart vlogs!
@Chantymarie4 жыл бұрын
Well they don’t decrease it on purpose, but it goes down if they tip a percentage and if things are out of stock then their order total goes down so will the tip! I don’t know if that makes sense haha

I just joined as a Shopper. The hardest thing I've had to deal with is subbing items. I'll text customer and they don't get back to me. I stand in the store with cold OR frozen stuff thawing. Customers; if we can't find it, load your list; "refund" OR what will be a good sub. Cuts down on the time or confusion

I do Instacart and I spend about 8 hours a day sweating my butt off in my car, there are barely any batches, and if there is one, a bot snatches it before you can swipe. I drove 40 minutes away to another Publix to see if that would help, and I spent 8am-3pm today doing Instacart, only got 3 orders totalling only $50 for the day. It sucks.
@Chantymarie4 жыл бұрын

Today was a lucky day, like I said in the video it’s not always like this
@kajenkirubah12284 жыл бұрын
@@Chantymarie it must be a lucky day or you live in a wealthy area. The most i remember getting is $20/hour, those are my lucky days. 90% of the time its closer to minimum wage, $14/hr. Its not bad as a job to earn side money, but remember to factor in costs of gas and maintenance. I have to spend $600 on a set of tires soon because I drive so much. Instacart is in no way a good job, I recommend to people to get an education or training in some field. Go to the trades, you will make far more money than wasting time doing instacart. Its a good temporary job for one reason and that's flexibility, something people should keep in mind. If you dont need so much flexibility you will do just as good flipping burgers.

You're not condemed to work in low income areas to shop. You can Drive to a more affluent area to work. You could combine this gig with doordash or GrubHub, and take the jobs that attract you. Pause one app when doing the other type of delivery. Now you're making money on multiple platforms. Food delivery consistently makes my wife or I between $25 and $32 an hour in our area. There are times a day that it is very busy and orders come in to the tune of several a minute. There are times that are totally dead. Might be a good time to do an instacart run to break the monotony of GrubHub or doordash.
