Hi from Victoria point, Australia. Loved watching this. My wife and I drive down to the Boat ramp on the weekends for our entertainment. It is great to watch. I do help some people if they need help. Have been in some situations where I have received a hand from younger people. Age does so weary. Life is to be lived.

So many people need so many training classes on loading, launching, backing trailers, and just plain old boating etiquette and that's just at a couple of ramps. I see this craziness all of the time, I don't know how these people make it through the day alive, lol.

This is too much stress and anxiety to end a day of relaxation. It reminds me of when I worked with split days off (Sunday and Wednesday) and we would go off roading on a day off. We all had to work at 0230, so all it took was one person getting stuck or breaking down to instantly destroy the vibe. I was so happy when I found a better job with higher pay and better hours.

I find it so amazing that when somone pulls their boat out to tie it down and put things away, they are sitting in the way of other folks trying to make the necessary turning room for a more successful back down. That one guy had very little ability to pull forward and get truck/trailer aligned before backing down. Folks can easily pull out of the way somewhere else and clear the area when they are leaving and need to tie stuff down.

(Edit) notice at the end, you know the lady can clearly see the trailer is visible in her passenger mirror, but did she try to correct?? No! She just keeps backing it down! There’s a couple times I wished cameras were rolling while I was at the ramp. One time a couple miscues ending up with a slightly wayward boat, a lost shoe, waterlogged phone and us two sliding down the algae covered ramp. On the flip side, the PERFECT two man loading of a boat. Perfect dismount to the dock, perfect timing for boat and trailer coming together in perfect unison with the truck hardly coming to stop after backing up going straight to pulling out boat in tow. Naturally that happened right next to a guy taking up 2/3rds of the ramp having made zero progress in the time it took me to get the truck and load up. We all have our good and bad days!

Most people backing their trailers up are not aware of "" starting off with one hand at the BOTTOM CENTER of the steering wheel "". This way, if you move your hand to the left......the trailer will move to the left. move your hand right....and trailer moves to the right. It eliminates all that turning to the opposite way you want your trailer to move, which really confuses most people. I've ALWAYS been excellent in backing trailers up, even with all the opposite crap ( if you know what I'm talking about ) then one day I tried starting at the bottom center of steering wheel & it was so easy. TRY IT PEOPLE
