Chaos changed a lot, but also he kind of didn't. Azhi moves now have projectile invun and his roll is better, his 2A is a low and he can do 22x from the air. Azhi can also now whiff cancel his moves in vorpal and azhi moves are chainshiftable on whiff. Those are his main buffs with regards to neutral, combo-wise he changed a lot, but also unist has a challenge mode with combos now so you can go to that if you need combos. His strengths/weaknesses are basically the same except now his pressure is a bit more scary cause he can combo off his throw in some setups, so if you thought he looked cool before you'll probably still like him.

If you're new to uni chaos isn't exactly the most straight forward character to learn, but his execution is pretty easy. Because he has so many ways to be plus on block and because his specials are in passing link, he's very open ended. If you like training mode, this is a good character for you. His mix-up options are rather poor (probably the worst out of every under night character), but he has pretty good tools for taking advantage of reads and if he gets started he can use momentum to steamroll pretty easily. Chaos's real problems come from his poor defensive options. 66B's forward momentum gives it a blind spot right above chaos that can be a real pain. With his only reversal on 200 meter and with EXS being a pretty useful resource for chaos's pressure and corner carry, he can get real sad when blocking.
This guide is intended for people new to the character of chaos but familiar with the basic system mechanics of under night. So I skipped over some universal options. Of note for chaos though: VO is invun to everything (except for gord's anti-air grabs and only gord's anti-air grabs). And IWEXS is universally hit invun (not throw invun). Also I casually drop the term "passing link" that's the game's official name for chaining normals, many players also call it "rebeat"

I don't play Yuzu personally so I'd have to first find someone who wants to collaborate or learn the character at a high level myself. I'll probably come back and do more characters when unist comes out or at least gets a release date.

About 3:23, the opponent can tech backwards, escaping for free out of the setup.

They don't escape because you can just meaty them still, and it's not free because back teching costs them GRD and spacing. They avoid the mix-up but since it costs them resources chaos doesn't mind so much. It's not super dominating setplay it's just a unique option he has that's a part of his gameplan

Oh ok didnt know it costs GRD to tech a direction, fair points. When facing chars with dp I usually prefer to end mid-screen combos into 2C 6C 236A 22B and more or less it works, but I'll have in mind that setup then.

Okay I am a complete beginner to this game so can someone explain how to preform a 5a?

For fighting games directional inputs are represented by numbers corresponding to a keyboard numpad. So 5 = neutral and A is the in-game A button which does a light attack. If you give no directional input and press A you will have done 5A. 5A will also come out if you hold back or forward since chaos does not have a move on 4(back)A or 6(forward)A

This is a year old but for future references just cuz someone makes something doesn't mean you can't. Especially things that are very subjective. (you may play one character better than another person plays the same character or just have different ideals and tactics about them ya know etc etc.) so the more the merrier. People can learn to read all sides and then make their own conclusion. I don't believe on bit of info is enough to hold as ultimate stone. (fact) if it were me i'd want several opinions and view points/tips etc.

How sad is to be a company drone, when this game can run on a toaster laptop.As someone said, if you are reluctant to have not more than one gaming system you are cutting yourself great chances of playing great games and get better prices. This is for both console and PC elitists...

You have to ask ASW, there is a reason the game came to PC first than PS4 and its the fact that many console owners outside of Japan cant care less about "poverty" (dont get me wrong, love UNIEL) fighting games... While most people who like these kind of games plays on both console and PC, PC is the cheaper solution for publishers, because some selfish console owners only wants expensive(for both customers and devs) physical copies. The other fact, is releasing on Steam worldwide is as easy as pressing a button, while on consoles, ASW needs to localize the game under third party partners according to PSN zones, see Blazblue and Guilty Gear, that means less money for Furapan and ASW. Its a fact that some console players behave like elitists 4ssh0l3s, they think because SONY, every game should be on PS4 and their forgot that the fact that SONY broke its promise about being the most indie friendly possible. So yeah as it happens in indie/doujin games, if you want to see a game on PS4, you must first buy it on Steam, like it or not, for example, Stardew Valley, Undertale, Insurgency, etc, so devs can get enough money to publish at least in PSN under Sony requisites. As both PS4 and PC player, I can tell you that PSN sucks, while on Steam is way easier to get games, not because prices, but because Steam accept my debit card and many games like Blazblue or GG arent available in my zone. Even KOF coming first to PS4, I think I can wait until it get released to Steam, because well Sony doesnt consider me as a worthy customer, a fact that I dont like at all. I miss the days when gaming was inserting a casette or a disc and play, but sadly those days are gone.
