⁠same here. When it was still a bit unpolished, Guys like Tank Abbott and Dan Severn and Ken Shamrock were on their way out, but we had Tito Ortiz, Rich Franklin, the Hughes/Trigg fights. Mir, Belfort, Couture, Penn, Matt Sera, Tim Sylvia, Even Tanner (who I just somehow recently found out was related to some very close family friends.) we had a younger Andrei Arlovski..who insanely is still fighting, and still loosing. And then there was Chuck. He was my favourite fighter until GSP showed up on the scene….or at least we noticed him making waves. Gotta root for my fellow Canadians

Idk how well known the story is but there was a bear that served in the Polish military during WW2..... It was a Syrian brown bear the soldiers adopted after its mother was killed, it would literally help them carry ammo from place to place. AT will never fight in the UFC. Dana won't sign him. If he does fight, it will be on an amateur circuit or one of the lower level pro circuits. Dana learned his lesson signing gimmick fighters based on popularity alone such as CM Punk. Brock was signed because he was a NCAA division 1 national champion and ended up becoming the UFC HW champ.

Alexander Volkov beat Gane at the weekend. Adalaide Byrd needs to be fired because when someone loses a fight that they actually won, they lose half their fight purse. And for someone that relies on that to pay their coaches and feed their family, that's a big problem. Don't agree with all the hate towards Cyril Gane though.
