Cause they were divided, Joey basically worked alone on that album and the rest of band just filled his drum parts, that’s actually why half of band were working Look outside your window, they have better memories of working on Vol 3, cause that’s the album they actually worked together and it truly feels like work of whole band as a team.

The disease that he got that affected his playing is sometimes contracted from excessive Heroin/Cocaine usage. It's relatively rare that it happens that way, but if the band was convinced that he was on drugs, seeing as they have better insight than the public, I would say that it adds up. As for Joey, of course he wasn't going to admit that he was committing a crime by using heroin.

I’m on Jim Root side, Clown talks so much about this and then forgets about it. Fans being frustrated is understandable and Clown is just annoying us. It’s difficult for me to leave slipknot entirely because like the obvious case, their music helped me so much while my depression and anxiety kept me in a jail inside my mind. @@alys__drummer2008 was a rough year for them, multiple sources claim, that the whole band felt divided because everyone recorded their parts alone, there was little to none jamming together as the band, so Clown, Corey, Sid and Jim worked on side project while Joey was basically writting his drums parts alone, while others filled on top of what he has created, majority of band hated this type of process. They definitely remember recording of self titled or even Vol 3 much more fondly, since they actually worked much more together rather than isolated. That’s actually why I don’t really like neither All Hope Is Gone or The End So Far, cause band did not really work together.

Ok I kind of get it why it’s so easy to shit on Clown, he always had this ego act going on (although I’ve met him in real life, meet and greet to be exact, and he felt like a really cool dude, no ego there what so ever) but wtf Corey has to do with all of this? Ever since they fired Fehn, people can’t get over it, they got some random stupid idea that both of them are some freaking evil masterminds and everybody else are their puppets, almost 6 years passed, you can never know how their contracts have shifted, maybe Corey is no longer so called CEO, he’s really not so vocal past few years, dude is working with his insecurities, had huge mental breakdown and people keep screaming same shit like bunch of sheep for over a decade now, we don’t know shit, the band are playing amazing shows right now, they replaced drummer, I get it to be pissed about Joey, it was rough, but Jay being replaced with Eloy? I’m sorry, but that’s like a huge upgrade to the band, we don’t know about Craig, he probably just left, and it seems his replacement is doing great on stage. Idk, people jump wayy to quickly into conclusions. At this point Jim is far too valueable to be replaced and it seems that people take this way too literally, this all could’ve been a joke. Relax jeez.
