I initially found this software quite challenging to use, much like my first encounter with Vray. However, after watching your videos, I didn't expect it to be so user-friendly and intuitive. Vantage is truly amazing

I don't have enough video memory to open vintage, how do I save a 3ds max scene so I can open a vintage scene separately without 3ds max?

Yes, you can export a vrscene and use Vantage as a standalone tool.

Hi Jeremyyy, we’re still researching efficient ways to support V-Ray mesh lights, but I cannot provide an ETA yet. As Punith Aiu suggested, would self-illuminated materials work instead?

I had a skeleton animation in maya, I live linked with vantage, then had to render frame by frame to make a sequence. I there any workaround for now?

Hi Ins, there is no other workaround yet. We’re working on support for deforming meshes via vrscenes. That will enable rendering animated skeletal/skinned meshes. We’ll also look into rendering animations via Live link as well. Do you have other animations in the scene, e.g. lights or materials parameters?

Yes, Chaos Vantage supports the simultaneous use of compatible GPUs (NVIDIA RTX). It's best if the two are the same or similar in speed and RAM. It's strongly recommended to have both on full-speed 16x lane PCI-e slots.

Hello, displacement will be added in a future version. In the meantime do you mind answering some questions regarding displacement? Which mode do you use most frequently - 3d, 2d, subdivision displacement? How often do you use the view dependent mode. How often do you use vector displacement?

It's a free software..what are you crying about. and it has thousands of users even without displacement and sss. So,that says it is pretty useful...

@@punithaiu Its not free. maybe in your workflow disp is not really needed but for high quality close ups, this cannot be used.
