I have heard from many respected reviewers and friends , The Woods Collection - Dusk , is the Best PDM Layton clone, and waiting for mine to arrive . Also Amber Oud Bleu Exclusif is a superior clone then Detour Noir but is much more expensive .

Actually you got it wrong at the end, Amber oud Bleu Edition is a clone of Bleu de Chanel EDP, Amber Oud Bleu "Exlcusif" is a clone of layton

I bought an Alpine Homme Sport after your recommendation and I have to say it's nearly a perfect clone of Chanel Allure Homme Sport. Not sure about longevity yet, though. EDIT: Longevity is about 4-5 hours. After 5 hours I would still smell it, but nose to my skin. It has a moderate to low projection. But I guess original Allure has a similar performance, it is that kind of perfume...

Recently picked up Lattafa Mahir Legacy, Detour Noir and Suqraat. All three smell great and have excellent performance. The box/presentation on Mahir Legacy is ridiculous, it was so nice I felt bad throwing it out. It even came with a matching gift bag so I just ordered another one for my son's birthday present. Cant beat the price currently $21 with free shipping, its a steal.

I've compared Maahir legacy and a sample of PDM Sedley directly and they are very similar indeed. Surprisingly however, Sedley did not impress me at all in terms of performance as I simply could not smell it anymore after about an hour. Thought I was going nose blind to it, but it was virtually the same on test strips as well. The Sedley sample I received could have been from an older batch, but Maahir Legacy performed significantly better for me, and is a fraction of the cost.

Detour Noir really is awesome. On top of that, the stuff is nuclear beast mode - more than 2 sprays and you're killing everything downwind. You will never run this ugly-ass bottle dry, it will last forever.

The Layton Clone is called Amber Oud Exklusif Bleu and it's not from Al Haramain. It's a different brand. Al Haramain has an Amber oud bleu edition, but that is an Bleu de Chanel Clone.

They aren't terribly priced on discounters. Ideals have longevity and complexity. I can totally appreciate a $40 clone of a $350 fragrance that lasts 3 hours longer than the original. The Star Nebula clone of discontinued Pure Malt is also great.

As long as you’re buying a clone brand that’s somewhat known it shouldn’t be a problem. A fragrance, no matter the price, consists of aroma chemicals, naturals, and alcohol. Whether you’re okay with spraying your own skin with unknown chemicals is up to you, but you’re doing it expensive or not. The reason it is cheap is likely not due to cheaper materials but to the brand. Really, Creed Aventus is $400 more expensive than it should be just because of the brand.

I think i will never buy a fragrance from any of these brands (Armaf, Afnan, Al haramain, Rasasi, Lattafa etc.) Please don't listen to anybody and if you have the option just smell the original and the clone side by side. In my experience, small or big there is always something off which spoils it for me.
