personally i'm not into the pip pad kinds of mods, i prefer Baka Fullscreen Pip-Boy and Quick-Boy mod, reason why i like it is simple, you can see your screen UI and not your stupid pointless arms hands and fingers, it just blows up the image of the important stuff so you can actually see your pipboy screen and not all the stupid stuff like your hands fingers and buttons on the outside pipboy model. basically it just uses the power armor pipboy screen you don't have to be in power armor to see it, now the mods i do like that make the pipboy on your arm invisible because i don't like that bulky thing on my arm, if i can help it. so i could care less what the outside model of the pip boy looks like because for me it's just a menu that i view to play the game, it's far more functional this way. the base game, bethesda thought this would be cool, but it only frustrated people playing like myself because for one thing it was always according to your FOV setting, so if you liked your FOV at 100, it would be nearly impossible to see your screen even with that zoom in feature, like it was pointless, before finding this mod i had to find a FOV slider that would make it more specific FOV depending on the situation, and that mod is great for everything else, i mean you can even view terminals up close which was also an oversight of bethesda, like all i need as a gamer is to actually see the freaking UI, how hard is this to do bethesda?

i agree with your settlement mod picks, i use both these mods, i wish kingath would just put them both in the same mod instead of separately like they are. i mean these mods work out of the box, and i also like his sim settlements mods, but they have more glaring issues that are hard to deal with because of their design, so i just stick with these two mods because they function without sim settlements as priority, yeah my builds are more simple, but my game is far more stable than using sim settlements.

it's funny, but i stayed away from the The Machine And Her mod because she was ugly lol, like was it too much to make her beautiful? anyway i'm sure it's a great mod for her quest and her unpredictable follower affinity, but idk if it's even worth it, because i choose to side with the institute every playthrough nowadays, and she will likely hate me for this choice alone lol.

Important note. Mutant Menagerie and it's addons have been retired. The mod author recommends its successor, Mutant Menagerie - Life Finds A Way as the complete and more stable mod.

The "modern tacticool" mods bother me more than the futuristic stuff does. And I think the tablet feels too modern/future. The pip-boy is the perfect blend of old and future, and I'll never understand the mods that turn into a tablet. Or the mods that add guns that are just ports from Modern Warfare 😒

Vanilla weapons are ugly, especially some machine guns. I'd rather download some mods to fix the ugliness and lack of knowledge of gunsmiths in the game than have to play with them. Besides, you know that in other games, we had modern weapons, and if I'm not mistaken, Fallout 4 is the one that takes place in the future among the others, so to speak. So it would even make sense to have some modern weapons, and the futuristic ones make sense. We have laser weapons in the game, man. It's not that far out of the game. Vegas and fallout 3 have some modern weapons, so to speak it vegas

@@anidiot2284 yeah, some are even canon, like the P90 and the Desert Eagle. Anything manufactured past the mid 90's are iffy for me personally. Dak definitely makes the best weapon mods, they never really go past that 90's threshold, and they're always high quality. I wish he'd release a group of them in a pack mod

The Lore for the Brotherhood was fun, till Bethesda set their MMO Fallout 76 before the Events of Fallout 1 and 2, screwing it up. The BoS never went to Appalachia, and they never used a satellite or sent out teams. They were isolationist A holes that hated wastelanders and would only trade if you did a suicide mission for them in Fallout 1. Bethesda completely screwed it.

Damn, thats a nice collection, i didnt even know half of them...well i'm not long on FO4 either, was way to long Skyrim bound, but no, i'm not only there since the TV series, but about a year or so.^^ Dunno what to make with the Follower/ quest mod, but for me Heather Casdin takes the cake so far, but i have a look. Now i just need to fix the "Lookup failed" bug to actually use MCM and get it all sorted...damn lol "Next Fail Update"... Oh and for UI Mods: FallUi's entire Suite rules. :)

Spiderbots? COOL! Despite the fact that they sadly blow themselves up it seems...would love non-exploding bots (that's sadly something you never could play in Fallout, a kind of tech-summoner-character, who builds/repairs bots to fight for him) As for guns, I want my M72 Gauss Rifle - why? A it's a magazine-fed gauss rifle that packs a punch (best weapon in Fallout 2) and it's from Germany (just like me!) ps: The Power-Armor-Bot-Mod (that turns PA into a robot, that follows you around!) is also cool!
