Both organizations were dreamed up by fiction authors whose fantasy mythos are focused on extraterrestrials who existed here before humanity. One organization knows it’s fiction and offers its fiction for fun as a game… the other offers its fiction as a dangerous grifter cult. 😬

@@scottwoodward7103 yeah, i figured that was the case when i heard the name. i was more focused on the "victims/survivors are constantly sharing their stories about this cult, but no one actually does anything about it so the cult is free to indoctrinate more desperate people" angle, so it slipped my mind lol.
