I want to point other things as well. The IMI Galil's carry handle is on the wrong side The XM177 is using Troy Industries iron sights, which I believe wasn't around during the time The Franchi Spas-12 isn't correctly loaded. The player must press the carrier latch in order to load the shells inside the magazine tube. If not pressed, the magazine door is locked.

Suprised to see nobody mentioning that the reason a ton of Black Ops 1 guns aren't accurate to the time period is because the game was originally supposed to take place in the 80s, but then was actually changed to take place in the 60s late in development to make the Vietnam missions make more sense.

XM4 in Bo6 is based on Colt Model 723 from 1980s and yes it’s a M16A2 Variant 3:55

Not a historical inaccuracy, but I did notice at 10:16, the Colt M604, the mag counter shows for a 30rd mag but the weapon model shows a 20rd being dropped and inserted.

the M16A1 in Black ops 2 is probably just because they re-used it from Black Ops 1, it's also somewhat forgivable considering M16 A1s were still in service until the mid 90s, so they could still be in use in B06 practically. Pretty much ALL the major WW2 American weapons like the Garand, BAR, Tommy Gun, M3 still saw use in Vietnam even if they were replaced.

Here are some more suggestions for a potential sequel: 1) AKS-74U from BO1 (produced in 1979, labeled SMG while being an AK-74 carbine); 2) PTRS-41 from WaW and Gorenko Anti-Tank from Vanguard (running and gunning with 14.5mm anti-tank rifle is beyond inaccurate); 3) Volkssturmgewehr from WW2 and Vanguard (full auto fire is impossible); 4) CZ 75 from BO1 (produced in 1975).

The Spas in BO1 was also inaccurate with its ADS in which with an IRL Spas, you can not see through the sights with the stock folded. This is due to the pins in the stock, a rubber buffer and the bottom plate of the stock being in the way.

Ah, for #3 with the SPAS in BO1, you said that when it gets pumped when the character picks it up, that actually is historically accurate, when you load the SPAS you have to pump it then lock it in place to chamber a shell, so its kinda both accurate and inaccurate since it dont get locked in place

There were full auto variants of the A2, A4, and A3 (literally an A2 with full auto instead of the standard issue burst option), although they were much fewer compared to their 3 round burst variants.

The m16/ar-15 was full auto until the development of the a2 series where it was made into a 3 round burst fire rifle though full auto rifles existed in the A2 family then the A3 was a full auto A2 and then the A4 was burst again

To be a bit pedantic, the XM4 in Black Ops 6 is actually based on a Colt Model M733 which is the gun used in the 90s classic movie, Heat. You are technically correct because the Colt Model M733 was based on the M16A2 and did have M16A2 marked on the receiver but technically it's a M733. Amazing video tho, I love these videos from you man. Also hoping we get a Spas-15 in this game as a Pump Action and the Spas-12 as a Semi-Auto, itd be alot of fun to have both.

Well, now we NEED a part 4, the Stinger LMG in CoD WW2 needs to be covered, because its portrayal is antithetical to the historical weapon, in game, it's a large heavy, slow firing LMG that looks like a factory polished cludge. On the other hand, the improvised ground use modified Browning AN-M2 "Stinger" LMG in real life was a light weight aircraft machine gun modified by US Marines for infantry use, it fired at the same blistering 1200-1800 rounds per minute that the MG-42 fired at, and was lighter than the standard Browning 1919

Actually, the CAR-15 could use 30 round magazines. It uses the same magazines as the M16. Plus, no, it is not qualified as a submachinegun. It's a carbine aka short barreled rifle. As for the Galil, it was actually based on the Finnish RK-62 and introduced in 1972

For the M16 you said. The names is correctly M16A1. It shoots auto which is correct. But the only thing is inaccurate is the mag. It shoots 30 bullets on a 20 rd mag. If you are confused of the firing mode M16 varients. Here M16A1 = Semi-Auto & Auto M16A2 = Semi-Auto & Burst M16A3 = Semi-Auto & Auto M16A4 = Semi-Auto & Burst

Many AK47s in cod are not real AK47s. In black ops it should be an AKM. In black ops Cold War should be a AK74. In MW1-3 and cod ghosts it should be a AK74m.

All I'm gonna say is that my favorite gun from BO1, Kiparis, is shaking in it's boots right now. It wasn't named the Kiparis irl, it was actually called the OTs-02 Kiparis, and it was invented in 1991.
