Do you find it easier to be in school now that you are a candidate? working full time with family, ministry and school can be overwhelming at times. From what I understand school is you job as a candidate on top of some training days. correct?

I’m currently in the Guard and my friends have been encouraging me to go this route. I’ve never heard of the Chaplain Candidate Program until my short stint in DC. I was in youth ministry for 5yrs and had always planned to go to seminary, but with work, family, and military, adding school to the mix seemed like an intimidating concept. Watching this video is a good motivator for me as I’m also climbing up in age(38yrs) and am on a crossroad in my military career.
