In before “me sees, me clicks”! Seriously though - check out her entire tiny desk performance if you really want to be blown away by her voice in a stripped down (yet still pop) setting!

I'm a swiftie, but if Chappell keeps on like this, she will be bigger than Taylor. Just not sure she wants that. Either way, I'm very much enjoying Chappell and was so fortunate to see her in Franklin TN. Seeing her perform that album will forever be one of my favorite memories

Please react to her entire album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, and then her NPR Tiny desk concert. She truly is bringing talent back to pop.

This was her first high-budget live performance, so I recommend checking out her other live performances to see her more typical stage presence. No suit of armor weighing her down lol😂 The visual theme here is tied to the meaning of the song, which is about pursuing a girl that doesn’t want to admit her queer identity and hides it by dating men. So, Chappell is battling an army of men & burning it all down to prove her love (at the beginning) and then express her frustration at not being able to reach the one she loves (“I told you so!”).

@FrankValchiria Just heard you say that you're a boomer, so I think you have heard the beautiful song "Reflections of My Life"by Marmalade. The most beautiful song from the 60's .
