One of my favorite Avril songs and I’m similar in age to Chappell, but this song came out when I was still in diapers lmao. Chappell wasn’t far ahead of me. Makes sense why she wouldn’t have the lyrics fully memorized if she was that young

She read the lyrics to the covers at all the shows, it adds a kitschy charm to the song. She could totally know the lyrics but this feels like a cute karaoke style.
