Great info! I/we should read the instruction manuals to the end :-) , didn't know about the feature where you can point to a spot that you just past and get the GPS coordinates, what a great feature. I just checked my two Garmins, and sure enough, I have that feature also. Thanks fo sharing!

I think that grass is actually algae covering the limestone reef.

Your sonar looks like a Simrad EVO3. I had one and they are great for sonar recall and placing a waypoint on the POI. How big was that area? I find that I get much better bottom pictures on plane at 200kHz than CHIRP or low frequency. Great videos- keep it up.

Seems like this might have been a real good spot to troll over with some smaller nomad lures that go down 25’-30’. Wonder how productive that would have been.

When you’re running on plane, do you increase the scroll speed of your fish finder to help give a larger view of any meaningful bottom marks you might run over? If so, how fast do you make your scroll speed?
