Thanks for the very well made and informative series on ancient Egypt. A very nice reminder of my visit to the same sites several years ago. I look forward to viewing your various other series as well. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Chapter 2 is about Islamic Egypt from 641 thru the Ottoman era. I'm working on 3 now. It's about the temples and tomes of Luxor.

10:57 The were not ‘fixated on death’. They loved life so much that they wanted to make sure they could access the after-death- life by means of proper burial.

Thanks for your comment. I agree that the ancient Egyptians wanted to prolong their life experience by extending it into an afterlife. We owe much of our understanding of life in ancient Egypt to the burial industry that left tombs and pyramids with beautiful paintings and carvings.
