Meet Martin Casey, the proprietor of The Harbour Bar - Downings, Co. Donegal, often described as being one of the best bars in Donegal.
Martin talked to us about the bar, about Downings and the changes he has seen since he took the bar over almost 40 years ago.
Among its many charms is the friendly bar staff that can converse with you in English or if you prefer in Irish.

I had a nice night there in 2011. We had a few pints together with a crew of Golfers from Donegal and NI. A wonderful pub with really good Craig.

My mother came from Downing Barr? Can’t find it those old men could have told me about Charlie Gallagher my grand dad I’m sure. But too late now
