Nostalgia is a heck of a drug. I remember people cheering when the agency got destroyed and constantly saying they hated the map and this season, but now everyone seems to like it which confuses me

You answered your own question. Nostalgia truly is a heck of a drug. When this season ran, everyone was stuck in Chapter 1 Seasons 3-5, which honestly weren’t even that great barring nostalgia (except Season 4, that was insane). 99% of the people who ‘hated’ that season didn’t even have reason to, except for “oG mAp gOoD, nEw mAp bAd”. The only criticism I find valid was that Chapter 2 Season 2 was WAY too long, and the last month was horrible. But it was a good season.

Damn man , this game gave me my best friend , i remember when I got with him our first win on 8 january 2020 at his house, we had our location right next to weeping woods and agency and lazy lake, good old times , I miss them so much , I was a kid, I wish this game didn’t change that much, but yeah :(. Ch2 s3 is in my oppinion the death of old fortnite, i had the misfortune that i started to play ch2 s2, not that i didnt knew fortnite before, but i was dumb as kido who kept installing it onto wrong disc and wondering why it cant be installed, if not for that i would have started in ch1 s3-4, just to emplify my stupidity, i had another disk that had half a terra empty, but this season was still super good, playing with a friend, luckly project era exists, and even tho it doesnt feel the same it is still super fun

In 2020 this was my home quite frankly, I stayed on a call with my friend for 13 hours straight just playing Fortnite. That season was my childhood and with many of my friends that I don't talk to anymore we used to try and get every single mythic weapon and win the game.... What an amazing game it was...

We all miss chapter 1... We all miss Chapter 3... We don't mind Chapter 4... But Chapter 2 was the best.. That is when FORTNITE was at it's PEAK this was it's prime. The reason why a lot of people loved Chapter 2 was because it had so many crossovers. It was probably the longest running chapter in Fortnite. Because of the colabs Fortnite had. It's the reason why people loved this but in general Chapter 2 is home to some players because it was just BEAUTIFUL.
