Rules:
1. I not allowed to have any unit that is paired up land an attack at all, though I can pair up for other reasons such as AI manipulation, Shelter, or movement options.
2. All units must get married. This is to avoid the run from turning into a complete Ryoma sweep.
3. I am allowed infinite resources and an early chef's hat.
4. DLC, grind maps, and online battles are banned
5. As a personal challenge, I am going to try and avoid strats that abuse too much chokepoint stalling to make some maps, like chapter 7, just a little bit more interesting.

Honestly I love Arthur and Effie fr. There may be some retainers I like better individually, but as a pair Arthur and Effie fit so well together. The way they interact with each other and Elise is so much fun and so cute. Maybe it’s because they appear to be quite a bit older than Elise, but they really feel like her protectors. Much more so than the other retainers who appear to be the same age as their liege.

I agree that this and the final chapter are by far the hardest chapters in Birthright. I remember it took me a long time to clear this one without pair up but oh boy I was not prepared for chapter 27. It took me hours of resets to figure out how to clear the map without anyone dying. I look forward to watching your clear.

I never realized you didn't have to kill Effie and Arthur. Even though the game hinted that Elise could talk to them, I assumed she'd have to do it directly.

That conversation is realy just mean and a big "ive got only one week left till i retire" moment. That death is the only part of the story that had any impact on me at all in all 3 paths. Probably even more so because i played conquest first

So, is this map or Engage's version worse? Personally, I think Engage is *FAR* worse, simply because it combines all the frustrating things Engage's game design has: Reinforcement spam (most of which are annoying fliers) Painful map design (unless you're fielding an entire team of fliers) STRAIGHT UP FRAME RATE DROPS (From having too many units on the map) And eventually, the reinforcements stop giving exp. They aren't even worth farming.

Dude I did this map on a no special seal run (can only use master seals for promotions) and it was the absolute worst map iv ever done. People who say birthrights is easy I swear did not play this map or the end game legit
