This chapter exposes humanity in my opinion. We forget so fast. We revert to our old sins. We go to what is comfortable and we hate social conflict. It took 40 days for the Israelites who had seen God's power in front of them - to pervert and twist that memory into a new form of their old sins.

Agreed. Definitely further reveals human nature and we are not "good" naturally (after fall); that we need an external source to transform and change us.

Thanks for touching on the subject of abusing the Lords name in vane/ignorance ...it’s been an interesting observation of my own throughout my experiences here and I also subconsciously wince inside every time I here the derogatory words being uttered. I’ll admit I’ve even been guilty myself for repeating such low base vibrations AND I too know I’m no ones judge and wish to remind my own self of that haunting sentence uttered by Jesus on the cross when His last words were asking for His Heavenly Father Too consider our mule headed existence on this Earth. It blows my mind even still to this day to know Jesus didn’t just ask for Our Master to forgive our sins, Jesus told “ The I Am “ To forgive Mankind for Not even knowing how ignorant they in fact ARE; for basically misunderstanding their entire purpose in this life as we are born into “This” already soiled with original Sin. And Yes ~ i know ~I have goin off on a tireless rant and am already considering erasing this wordy comment but I can’t help concluding, that while I can appreciate both opinions, I just wanted to mention that the comparisons/combinations between Your Creators Name and anything negative is grossly naive & apathetic and just as Pastor Ascherick so keenly noted previously; that the very nature of “Not caring” is the Opposite of Love. Perhaps I’ve solved my own curiosity and Now think Sylvia took the higher ground and makes a valid choice in being disenchanted and unsatisfied with such basic mediocrity. again this is Just a random rant and I promise not to make this a contest of Law and Moral Order for “Pete’s sake” 😜 I will simply end with humility and gratitude for both of your good souls sharing your quest for The Truth online ....in such odd confusing times ~i can’t think of more imperative Things to do ..RIGHT NOW ... than to spread Truth. Godspeed.

Aaron's comment when Moses questions him reminds me so much of Adam's comment to God when he questioned him over the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil.

My word was Plead/Intercession. Throughout the chapter, you see Moses as a type of Christ pleading and making intercession for the children of Israel. For the first time, I understood what intercessory prayer meant and it's pleading for the souls of mankind.

After living in the US for 30 years and coming back to Australia I was mortified at the language. I had completely forgotten about it. I’m glad you noted this and I will not be offended any more even though it will hurt my heart and mind.

My word was degredation. After all they saw and experienced they still allowed themselves to degrade their conception of God.. this chapter was heavy! 🔥

Asking for the likes and comments is definitely helpful because often viewers do like the content but they’ll forget to actually engage on the channel. Good stuff! I just liked the video because of your reminder and I’m already subscribed!

P.s. after learning Moses fasted for FOUR MONTHS ....I have to wonder just how weak our own efforts (more so MY own personal efforts) must seem; becoming the very vile God chooses to spit out of His mouth; deeming such as the abhorred “Laya Diciaien” even though that seems like an insane amount of time for the human body to fast - it’s still such immense discipline

David you said: “I don’t understand Aaron” several times. Here’s a thought. Perhaps considering Aaron’s age. He’s older than Moses. Perhaps he feels old & tired for contending with an overwhelming pressuring crowd. Blessings Ela

Aaron was not part of God’s initial exodus plan. He only starts to get involved after Moses claims repeatedly he can’t speak well enough. God protests that Moses will be enough because He is with him but eventually acquiesces and adds Aaron (Exodus 4:10-14). It’s like including Aaron was plan B crafted partially by Moses, and Aaron did not work out well. Stick with God’s plan, if He says you’re enough, you are.
