Lots of clever fabrication in this video! I especially liked the angle grinder fixture. You gave that tire machine a workout!

Nice custom wheel, with so many weld points, can it be strong enough, also what about the balance, can you show it on the wheel machine check it's balance?

It's amazing. VERY well done, the spokes with flames look 10/10 👏👏 Man, the process is immaculate!! One question: is it possible to braze on top on the TIG welds located where the spokes join the rim and hub, so it looks the same color as the flames? Doing this you could have a TIG weld with silicon braze on top; then you could shape the weld bead with the pneumatic belt grinder making a neat joint with golden color 😉 Greetings from Argentina!

I'll never look at a tire machine the same way again ...genius use of one , a bit worried about the crankcase oiling with the engine angled that way all the time and not just the occasional hill

Interesting… but two questions: why cut off the rim flanges of the wheel at such a late stage? To keep things rigid during welding, or a change of plan? And, erm… brakes? Don’t you want to stop? I suppose not having any front brake cures the problem of trying to keep the tyre on a flangless rim under braking, but being able to stop is going to be necessary at some point!
Awesome to see the problem solving in action, fantastic example of how visuals can convey the thought process of the project, not an easy thing to do, so hats off to you sir. Side note I bet that springer weighs more than what's left of the frame and motor, but I can't wait to see what you do with it. Just subscribed so I don't miss out, so glade I found this channel.

Love yur work bro, however the gloves useng the lathe i could barley watch! Super dangerous if that glove bites! Bare hands always with something spinning with that much mass, itll take your hand if not draw your face into the turning peice before you coud even react! Anyways be safe and look foward to seeing this build complete 👍

Muito inteligente, amei,,,, só uma pequena crítica..... Tirou a borda da roda, pra por câmara de ar ??? Deixava com a borda e usava pneu sem câmara. Me perdoe,. Mas teve um pequeno erro.
