well in, Shoegazer 93! Received mine the other day. Side note-Spacemen 3 were Pete Kember and J. Spaceman. After the Spacemen's dissolution, Pete went on to be Sonic Boom solo and then Spectrum. And, as we all know, J. Spaceman went on to form Spiritualized. Dug your review! Let us know what you think about the overall sound!

Exactly after 92 and that reading Festival in 93 Grunge took over and wiped everything off the map. Overshadowed the creation era, shoegaze, the metalheads down in Florida, the hardcore scene in New York City. Even the big Gothic releases, Siouxsie, sisters skinny puppy, The Cure, in 92 didnt matter. I was so mad at the time.. creation dropped slowdive right in the middle of their American tour due to our favorite Gallagher brothers.. funny shoegaze is finally getting its due.. the brothers are still fighting it out.

What I appreciated about chapterhouse and what separated them from everyone else was their adaptability to the house and acid scene that was coming out at the time.

Hey, cool box set! Thanks for the presentation. As a classic Shoegaze fan, I saw a lot of these bands live here in the States in the early 90s. Chapterhouse, Lush, Slowdive, Blur, Cranes, Swirlies, Catherine Wheel, and Cocteau Twins. I may have to consider buying this! Cheers from NorCal.

Come heaven is pure sonic magic. got both Pearl's single on CD and vinyl, I was surprised it was not on rownderbowt. I still have my CD copy from back in the day I just saw that Record Store Day re-released it just like pale Saints Mrs dolphin compilation.

Thanks for the video! How do you find the sound of the cds? Some of the previous cd reissues did not have very good sound. Would appreciate your opinion. Thanks!

Well you have to remember this stuff is 30 years old mixes. I don't think they've remixed anything. Probably just remastered. I seemed to enjoy the sound enough!

I think it's him. They all grew their hair out even longer in the Blood Music era so maybe thats why he's unrecognisable. I don't believe they had another drummer
