I put together the RG versions of both, Char's has extra thrusters on the legs. I remember because I had just watched the series and Char had said someone died because they weren't using their Zaku to it's full potential, then I saw that and was like "That's easy for you to say with your extra thrusters, asshole."

@@neonnwave1 technically char Zaku 2 is a Honda Civic with enough modification to outrun a Bugatti easily, but because of it the engine and overall structure are kinda unstable.

Garma’s unit is also unique in that it has head vulcans. Dozle’s personal unit is specialized for melee, including knuckle dusters

In one of the timelines I'm working on, the Char character has a custom Mobile Suit of an existing series that is modeled off of the Me 262. In this timeline, the Mobile Suits are modeled off of real world tanks and fighter aircraft. The Char character's custom goes from four 30mm autocannons in the forearms to six on each forearm with a 50mm cannon on each forearm, four shoulder mounted 20mm autocannons, and an increase in missiles, size, and thrust. Triple the acceleration of the standard series, and triple the real world atmospheric velocity, as the standard is double the velocity.

@@GundamExplained Also I decided on adding more guns, and found a place to mount them. This is because there are two versions to the Me 262 with six guns, one with four 30mm and two 20mm, the other with six 30mm.

Gundam IBO included the manipulators being damaged from punching. I can remember at least three times it happened: Barbatos vs Mobile Armor, Gaelio vs Magillis, and one of the chunky orange MS in the beginning of the final episode.

A little point on your thkng about movile suit hand to hand combat damaging the suits This gives the opritunity for MS to be modified specially for pugalism snd massive mecha sozed knuckle dusters is one of my alltime favorite things Im customizing a few of my gunpla kits to be mad just for hand to hand (The zaku has the shield as a punching weapon and he's gonna have a spiked kneepad too, the hyaku shiki is gonna have knuckle dusters and i haven't decided on what kind of weapon i can put on the feet for kicking)

Heat tipped feet or spike on top of the foot for round house kicks, I have yet to hear of something like that. Yes there is the kit from battloge with the blazing kick but that’s not the same as a foot with the heat hawk tech

@@bruticus1496to be fair, the feet of Zeon units are extremely hefty so having heat tech on them would be a bit overkill. Though in some AU series, units have beam toe stilletos

I wanna say I know I’ve seen somewhere where it says there were about 2300 zakus built during the OYW that’s all variations included, Doms were 550ish, Gelgoogs about 85

You have probably seen that statement, but it varies wildly. Depending on what datasource you go for, all of them official, estimates for both federation and zeon total MS deployment range from 1000 to tens of thousands. I think the fan consensus is to accept the average of around 6000 MS per side, though most stat sites tend to include the RB-79 Ball as a mobile suit. Out of that number, it’s on you to decree what portion was Zakus, GMs, Doms, etc.

@Herr_Gamer yea the total for each side is about right, 6k give or take, but the numbers seem logical enough I suppose. Especially the Gelgoogs since they were deployed at the very end, yea the GM & ball count I saw said 1000 RGM-79 & 1200 balls

@@rogue_newtype4364 I’d say there were probably a few more Gelgoogs than your estimate. Both based on 0079 as well as side stories and manga series. They were deployed late, but likely on a broader scale than the show suggests. Keep in mind official sources also detail how many GM Snipers and Sniper IIs were present at A Baoa Qu despite them not appearing in the original series. I think it’s fair to assume the total number of MS units would be in the upper 6000s if not more for both sides when accounting for all canon variants. Sure, there is only stated to have been about 20 desert GMs, but what of the Nighseekers, Snipers, Cannons, Guards, etc
