If you wanna know a specific one , a mute silverquill student who is an owlin sorcerer, they them, and is a snowy owl covered in ink splotches, and uses a magic quill as a spell focus

I like all of the classes because I thought there would be a magic school for magic casters: like wizards, warlocks, sorcerers, artificers, or arcane tricksters to learn and study, like in modern times. I think it's a perfect thing for kids or teenagers in Dungeons and Dragons. Don't you agree?

I also think Eda would be in Prismari and Lilith in Quandrix with her apprentince Amity (I also imagine Eda and Lilith constantly fighting about which campus is better every time they meet 😅)

@@lalaofmotunui7927 Eda would probably be either a Professor of Expression at the Prismari College or a Professor of Chaos for Lorehold. I can see Lilith as either a Professor of Theory at Quandrix or a Professor of Radiance at Silverquill. Raine is a professor at whatever college Eda works at but on the opposite side of it's spectrum so either a Professor of Perfection at Prismari or a Professor of Order in Lorehold. As for other students, any bard track/coven member would end up in either Prismari or Silverquill. Boscha would be a Witherbloom student since it more easily offers alchemy studies and she would also be a part of the Mage Tower Team. Ed and Em would fit in wonderfully at Prismari. Viney would tend to animals in the bogs of Witherbloom while Jerbo would be there using magic to talk to plants. Bria would be digging up treasure in Lorehold and Mattholomule would also be digging up stuff in Lorehold trying to pass random junk as artifacts. Hunter I can see going to either Silverquill or Quandrix. I have no idea what to do for Bump.

@@Paichan13 Yeah, but Tary is, like, the ORIGINAL 5e playtest Artificer, he played NOTHING like the final class from Eberron and Tasha's Cauldron plays. (The official class came out about a year into Campaign 2, in "Eberron: Rising From the Last War", long after Sam played Taryon)

I'm an artist myself and my character is a tiefling bard named Taoli. So I think that the Prismatic college is really interesting to me. Perfect for someone like me. Also, fun fact: Taoli is one of three characters who are not gay in our school DnD club campaign.

I think the only real "problem" with Strixhaven is that it was weirdly marketed as both a setting guide and a campaign, where it's really more like WDDH or BGDiA; a campaign with a substantial gazetteer and bestiary. So people went into it expecting a full guide to Arcavios when even MtG players don't have that.

Percy from CR is actually a Gunslinger Fighter, it's a homebrew subclass for fighter that Taliesin and Matt Mercer developed together. However, Taryon Darrington (also from the first campaign of CR) is an Artificer, though admittedly that was back when it was just Unearthed Arcana so the rules were slightly less refined.

Dude your slam poetry bard idea is exactly what my current character is and it’s literally so fun. Like my character just writes poetry about made-up gods for stupidly specific things (such as pasta and chickens) and I fully support seeing more poet bard stuff. Such a blast to play! Especially since I get to write a lot of the poetry myself and then just start reciting it at random moments in the campaign, haha.

One of my players is playing an eloquence bard in our waterdeep campaign and he's been a blast to DM for! We replaced his 'bardic instrument' with a horn that he can speak through to flavor his spells more. He's an orator and scholar so it's fun to see a non-musical bard get more support from source material!

So, actually a BUNCH of recent DnD books were crossovers with Magic, and I personally adore them (and think you might enjoy them too, since you mentioned that you researched from the card game!), and that Magic just had a set called Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, which was a magic set that took place on a bunch of the typical DnD planes! :) Love the video! Fun fact, Strix is actually part of the scientific name for a family of owls. For example, Strix Nebulosa is the scientific name of the great gray owl. I just thought it was funny that you drew an owl in the world of Strixhaven!

This super cool, I love all the characters designs and reasons certain aspects where chosen, what parts of the colleges were lean into. Also the new brushes create some amazing effects with the water, ink and fire. It really pops while still having synergy with the rest of the art. My favourite design is definitely the Prismari, elemental arts just looks so striking & the colour combinations just gives it an unique retro look.

Okay first I absolutely ADORE the Owlins! I can’t wait to make a screech owl-inspired bard character! Second I have names for the Lorehold character and the Quantix character! For the Lorehold owlin , I immediately thought of *Oakley Shrillfeather!* and for the Quantix warforged, *Polygon* or *Poly* for short. At first I thought the glasses was a bow, so the warforged is stuck as a girl in my mind.

My friends and I played a Christmas themed one shot for the holidays and the dhampir druid I played would fit in with Witherbloom. They're basically the local swamp witch that looks spooky, but is very sweet and protective of their village. I would love to retool my spooky cryptid child for a Strixhaven campaign if I ever get to play it. Also, I have an NPC from a campaign I run that would fit well in Lorehold; he's a researcher specializing in magical locations, both naturally occurring and warped by mortal intervention. He's excited to be able to do field research at last, and the party loves his adorkable nature.

I am playing that campain atm as a Changeling Shadow Sorcerer that got tainted when he left the Fey Wild and passed the Shadowfell. He is now all black, white and grey and only has color when he changes to another person. He joined silverquill, cause he has a rly sharp tongue and is acid cynic. Infront of others hes nice and cheeful. But slowly he actually gathers friends and develops a life. He learned that singing is his way of showing himself to others. The campain also rly helps myself to work through some shit i gathered on my shoulders. I love all of it
