In the mid 70s we got to watch Anita Bryant film an OJ commercial at the Sunshine Tree Terrace at Disney World (with the Orange Bird)! To this day, we still always get an Orange Slush drink at the Terrace (been doing that since the 70s)! A few months later we saw that commercial on tv!

Just moved to Orlando from the Anaheim area so I just found out about this and I love it I feel like it needs more recognition and could have played a huge part in California Adventure but since they took the California theme and orange out it doesn't fit as much but could still be used on products :)

We saw the Orange Bird at the Terrace back in the mid 70s, he walked my sister and I over to the counter and gave us an Orange Slush drink! Ever since then we've ALWAYS gotten an Orange Slush drink at the Terrace. Heck I bet you even served me one back in the late 80s! My family been going to wdw since October 25, 1971 (my sisters birthday)..

Can you do a Character Course on the Muppet walkarounds? The Muppets appeared in the 90's for two stage shows "Here Come the Muppets" and "Muppets on Location: Days of Swine and Roses." Followed by those stage shows, Kermit and Miss Piggy did meet and greets throughout the 90's. Followed by the Stars and Motor Cars Parade, Kermit and Miss Piggy were re-designed and appeared on a float, as well as pose for pictures. However in 2006 the characters were no longer doing photo ops, but did stay in the parade until it's closure in 2008. Some have said Kermit and Miss Piggy were no longer offering photo ops because the Henson family didn't like the costumes. The Muppets have since returned though, but as puppets. First in 2010 for the VoluntEars Cavalcade and most recently for "Great Moments in American History." Sadly the Muppets still do not offer photo ops anymore.
