The color-changing squares are a reference to Sonic 1's special stages, as well as many people noting the general Sonic references. The tileset is similar to Green Hills Zone and many similar early/first stages in Sonic games. The giant sphere is a reference to Sonic 3's special stages. The "Chaos Malachite" is a play on the Chaos Emeralds which are often pursued by villains and can enable Sonic and others to transform into a super form. The Charm powerup is insane for any run where you want to farm kills. I want to revisit a few Limit Breaks now...

Charm gives 20 spawn quantity per rank (max +100). Goes pretty well with curse, but the side effect is early game is a risker as you are not necessarily ready for that number of enemies.

What in the... The stage starts with a tileset that's mocking Sonic 1...then you get Sonic 1's special stage "wall" gems. Then Sonic 3's special stage rolling ball and later on Sonic 1's special stage screen rotation? This is DELIRIOUS XD So basically Mortaccio gets the "Chaos Emerald"...I meant, Malachite and becomes Super Mortaccio? XD What kind of psychotropic substance do Vampire Survivors' creators take? It feels to good to have another Dex video as it feels like it's been ages. I was hoping you'd return for this and you didn't disappoint which made my day. Hope you're doing well and thank you for making this video on the new stuff coming soon to VS. Yes, when Mort morphs he turns into a weapon and you'll find out that he even throws his arms as well as bones. Also when he's in Melee range he whirls his arms around like a 6 year old in a fight on the playground if he hasn't already thrown them, LOL. His morphed form does a lot more damage than his standard bone attack as well. Again good to see you back as it's felt like I lost a good friend lately with the lack of Dex content...

Haha thank you for the nice words my friend :D So, originally I knew that Mortaccio has an evolution, but I didn't know how and thought I will unlock it in the run but then I planned to make a solo limit break on bone (since this has happened a bunch of times on my channel) and there show off the evolution, so I was really surprised by what happened here and that's also the reason I didn't plan around it/take a build that shows what happens :D

Yes, she is one of the strongest characters. The other is megalo menya moonspell, due to the fact that she doesn't take damage until the run you're in reaches the maps time limit, when it does reach the time limit, she just kinda explodes. Great for basic runs, but endless is just kinda thrown out the window

Pretty much never take bracer unless you want an evolution. There's been almost no instance where I didn't regret taking bracers instead of something else I forgot about BTW- you can seal away gold rush iirc if you want to get rid of then since your already at max coins.

Take Bracer if you're using King Bible/Unholy Vespers to make them spin faster, hitting enemies quicker and therefore increasing its dps. Same thing with Silver Wind and its evolution.

Theres a good handful of weapons where bracer does at least do some good. Its not worth it usually, but its at least very useful for Runetracer, the birds, bones, and mmmmmmmaybe cats? It has more weapons that get good use out of it than Spellbinder. I definitely almost never take it still tho yeah.

I love the Sonic the Hedgehog vibes from the checkered sphere resembling the special stages in Sonic the Hedghog 3 to the coloured blocks that change colour as you hit them just like the blocks surrounding the Chaos Emerald in Sonic the Hedgehog 1. I noticed that upon re-visiting the page, there was a "?" on the map that leads to three buttons labelled A, B, and C. I'm not entirely sure what they do other than seemingly switch the background. Is there a secret combination or what?

I like the crazyness of the stage that there are so many bats, I also like that its only 20 minutes long, which just feels better, but yea the looks of it are...wild xD If this was the only stage the game would have, then I would definitely say re-do it, but given its just an additional stage I kinda like how wonky it is
